Yesterday, the Alaska Department of Fish and Game’s Division of Commercial Fishing has released harvest numbers from the July 12^th fishing period in the Upper Cook Inlet.  It was a big day for fishing.  In the Central District, over 483,000 salmon were caught, nearly doubling this year’s harvest.  The Central District drift total was over 376,000 salmon for the day.  The set net total was over 107,000 salmon.
