The Borough’s ongoing Municipal Lands Selection process will close to public input tomorrow.
Marcus Mueller, in the Borough Land Management Office, said public comment will be used as a guide while the Borough determines which land will best fit their vision…
Mueller: “The Borough’s not going to be receiving this input in terms of what lands received the most hits. We’re looking at the appropriateness of comments as it relates to the Borough’s goals in having good lands that are meaningful for the public.”
Mueller said they’re looking for lands that could be used for municipal facilities like schools, fire stations, solid waste, and land which could potentially be sold to private parties in the future.
