Coal-to-Liquids Project Making Progress

The Tyonek Native Cooperation is looking into a way to develop coal around Tyonek into a liquid fuel. John McClellan with the Tyonek Native Cooperation explains the  benefits of the fuel.

The process is dependent upon a grant from the state to have the US Air Force certify the coal. McCellan says that this could be the largest privately funded project since the Trans-Alaska Pipeline.
