Chenault Concerned About Health Care Bill

The passage of last week’s Health Care Reform Bill has caused concern with some in the State Legislature. Last week, House Speaker Mike Chenault of Nikiski spoke to our news department. Chenault said that he had not read the Health Care Reform Bill; however, there were parts of the bill that would impact state spending.

Senator Lisa Murkowski and Congressman Don Young opposed the bill. Senator Mark Begich supported it.
