CES Responded to Reported House Explosion in Soldotna

Shortly after 12:45 this afternoon, multiple crews responded to a house explosion in the 300 block of Riverview Ave. in Soldotna. The KSRM News Department spoke with Officer Tobin Brennan with the Soldotna Police shortly after they arrived on scene.

CES Fire Chief Chris Mokracek said that crews have contained the fire as a result of the explosion

Crews with Enstar have been contacted in case of a natural gas leak, and HEA crews are on scene to tend to energized lines that could come down in the area.
