Representative Herron said that the major issues are poor management of the harvest in the fisheries, and having salmon from the personal use fisheries being illegally shipped out of the area.

Does the State really know how many fish are taken every year? I’ve seen people bring in boat loads of fish without the fins cut off and the next day the same people are out getting more fish.
How many fish does a family need per year? If the fish are used its one thing but if mose of them are wasted then something needs to be done to these greedy, wasteful people.
