Brown Bears Close Regular Season In Fairbanks

The Kenai River Brown Bears, currently holding the last playoff spot in the Midwest Division into the NAHL playoffs, travel to Fairbanks for a regular season ending, two-game series against the Ice Dogs. Game times are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at the Big Dipper.

Fairbanks has guaranteed a #1 seed and home-ice advantage by holding the top record in the Midwest Division; the Brown Bears are currently fourth, with the top four teams advancing into the playoffs.  Kenai River holds a two game advantage over Coulee River for the final playoff position.  Kenai River needs three points in two games in Fairbanks, or a combination of Brown Bear wins and Coulee River losses to advance into the playoffs.
