Body Believed to Be Missing Man

A body found floating in a lake near Tyonek is believed to be 45-year-old Eugene Bismark of Tyonek, who was reported missing last October.

Bismark hasn’t been seen since October 25 of 2013. State Troopers say they’re still waiting on an autopsy and identification by the State Medical Examiner’s Office.

The body was found a little after 8pm yesterday (Tuesday). Troopers responded and collected the body, but said the cause of death is still under investigation, but nothing suspicious was observed.

No I shouldn’t, just wait, you’ll see. Have you ever been to Tyonek? I have, many times, nobody is sober over there, just like the most if not all of the villages and bush towns in Alaska, it’s a culture of alcohol and violence

Mike- Please keep your comments to yourself as there are grieving family members reading this. I am one of them and I do not appreciate your rudeness or your racism. When the truth comes out about what so sadly happened to my uncle chipmunk I surely hope you feel terrible about your discriminating comment towards us natives. By the way if you do not like us please go back to your own country :) thank you kindly – one of the many concerned and grieving family members
