The Alaska Board of Game is scheduled to meet in Fairbanks, beginning on Friday. The meeting is scheduled for the Westmark Hotel in Fairbanks until March 7th. The Board of Game is going to consider 130 proposals regarding hunting and trapping regulations in the Interior regions.
The board will take oral public testimony beginning Friday, after department reports. Anyone wishing to testify before the board must sign up at the meeting sight before Saturday at 4:00 pm. The Board of Game says public testimony will continue until everyone signed up has been given the opportunity to be heard. Deliberations on the proposals will begin following public testimony and continue through the remainder of the meeting.
