The Board of Game is today addressing Game Management in Cordova, Anchorage, and Kodiak, as they continue meeting at the Kenai Visitor’s and Cultural Center.
Starting Friday afternoon, public testimony was taken through the weekend, mostly relating to predators in the Kenai area.
Participants said the heavy focus on Kenai bears and predators is the reason it was essential to have the meetings on the Peninsula this year.
This morning the doors opened on only a handful of audience members as the Board heard from staff around the state.
Kenai proposals are expected to be heard later today or during tomorrow’s final meeting.
