The Board of Fish has started the second week to determine what will change within the fisheries of the Upper Cook Inlet. Last week, the board spent its time taking public testimony in committee meetings on the various proposals. Many of these proposals want to change how the Personal Use Dipnet Fisheries at the Kenai and Kasilof River take place every summer. We spoke to Fisheries Biologist Pat Shields on Friday. He called some of the committee meetings spirited at times. He also discussed the plans for this week.
