The Alaska State House unanimously passed House Bill 73 friday, designating special license plates for firefighters and emergency medical service providers.  The bill intends to honor firefighters and emergency medical service providers by offering specially-designed license plates. Volunteer, paid, active and former personnel would qualify to receive the plates.

Where do I sign up for MY FREE license plate !!! We pay his salary, we pay for those Firetrucks, we pay for his OVERTIME. Let them buy their plates like the rest of us. What do we get in return??? Call your local fire department and ask for the location of one home they have saved?? I DOUBT THEY CAN NAME ONE. Why don’t we just set up a fund instead of what we pay for CES and if your house burns down, the fund will build you a new one for free. The interest from 1 years taxes would build 100 houses every year. You do the MATH.
