Big Eddy Rd Burglaries Continue

Posted: May 3, 2013 at 5:59 pm

We recently reported there was a string of robberies on Big Eddy Rd in Soldotna, and Troopers are reporting another incident in the same area. Similar to the mid-April break-ins, an unknown individual/individuals broke into a cabin and three sheds connected with a Bid Eddy Road residence earlier this month. Troopers were called to inspect the forced entry on May 2, just before 9am.

Investigation revealed a suspect(s) forced open a door on the cabin, dumped out drawers, and took several small items valuing approximately $100.  Locks and hasps on the three sheds were also pried off.  Damage to the four buildings is estimated at $300 total.

As the investigation continues, Troopers ask that anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to contact the Soldotna State Trooper office at 262-4453 or make an anonymous tip to Kenai Peninsula Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-478-4258..

It’s a “FREE FOR ALL” here on the peninsula for burgulars and they know it!! The State Troopers don’t have any investigative skills and the burgulars know this also. Their chance of gettingf caught is slim to none.
