Begich Says Second Shutdown Not ‘Probable’

Posted: December 3, 2013 at 12:50 pm

U.S. Senator Mark Begich is keeping an eye on national finances, as rumors of a budget deal circulate. He said yesterday that talks between the House and Senate may see results next week, but added…

Sen. Begich(D-AK): “I’m not too optimistic about it at this state. We’re hearing some pushback on both sides, actually, on elements of a potential budget deal. If that’s the case, then we’ll go right into January 15th, which will then have a continuing resolution, which we’ll have to vote to continue that or substitute it with the appropriation bills that will be necessary to fund the government, or we’ll be right back into potential government shut down January 15th.”

However, Begich said he didn’t think that was “probable.”

I wonder why you think “that’s not probable”? You ready to cave to the dictator already? Re-election time will come eventually!!!
