APCB Appoints Angela Rodell as CEO

The Alaska Permanent Corporation Board of Trustees selected Angela Rodell as CEO at a special meeting held via teleconference today.

 

Angela Rodell served as Commissioner of Revenue under Governor Sean Parnell in 2013 when she announced the PFD check amount.

 

Roddell: “The amount this year is $900.”

 

Rodell originally moved to Alaska in 2011 for the role of Deputy Commissioner of Revenue where she oversaw the Treasury Division.

 

Before moving to Alaska she had already gained 20 years of finance experience in the public and private sectors, where she focused heavily on debt issuance and capital financing plans.

 

Rodell was appointed to Commissioner of Revenue in 2013 and has held a seat on the Board of Trustees of the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation since then.

 

She holds an Masters in Public Administration from the University of Kentucky, and a BA in Political Science and Economics from Marquette University.

 

Currently she resides in Juneau, Alaska.

 

Rodell’s appointment is dependent on the successful negotiation of a salary and benefits package.
