Animal Control Renovations Approved

The Soldotna City Council has awarded a contract to Dan Sterchi Construction at a cost of over $43,300 to renovate the ventilation system at the Animal Control Building. The action was taken at last night’s council meeting. Soldotna City Manager Larry Semmens said the ventilation has needed to be improved.

The project would remove the existing systems and replace them with a new system that would require all new ducting. The city received only one bid on the project.
