Yesterday morning a drowsy driver sustained non-life threatening injuries and caused $10,000 damage to his truck after falling asleep at the wheel.
Around 10:15 am, 23-year-old Sean Carpenter of Homer was driving a 2009 Ford F150 east on North Fork Road in Anchor Point. He reportedly fell asleep and crossed the center line around Mile 2. The truck entered a ditch, struck a culvert and embankment in a driveway.
