Alaska Redistricting Board Continuing with Limited Staffing

The Alaska Redistricting Board decided not to hire a new Executive Director, after interviewing three candidates for the job.

The board met in Anchorage last week to discuss a response to the Alaska Supreme Court’s order to redraw a new map for the 2014 elections.

The Board interviewed three applicants for Executive Director after most of the staff was let go late last year, but the five-member board decided instead to hire a specialist in computer mapping.
