AIMM Outlines Monofil Need

As we reported, the State Department of Environmenal Conservation has approved a monofil permit for AIMM Technologies.

During our conversations with AIMM Technologies President Brooks Bradford, Bradford said that part of the need for the proposed site, is due to the limitations on the borough’s landfill…

Bradford: “We’ve had discussions with the [Kenai Peninsula] Borough and there was a fear on their side as well on the increased production. The landfill is there for municipal waste, it’s not designed for an increase in drilling waste. There was a fear that we’d reach capacity there so we wanted to have an alternative to that.”

Currently, AIMM Technologies does deposit drilling waste at the Borough’s landfill.
