Absentee Voting to Begin in Soldotna Today

The absentee voting period begins today in the City of Soldotna for the upcoming special mayoral election.

Voters in Soldotna will take to the polls to choose the replacement for the remainder of Former Mayor Peter Micciche’s term which is set to expire to in October 2014. There are two men on the ballot, former City of Soldotna and Kenai Peninsula Borough Mayor Dave Carey, and former Soldotna City Council and School Board member Dr. Nels Anderson.

Absentee ballots can be cast at Soldotna City Hall Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm through the April 2nd election day.
