I came with my family to Kenai in 2004 from Kansas to start my work as News Director, and have truly enjoyed the people and places that make up the Last Frontier since that time. The Kenai Peninsula is a very interesting place to cover news. I have been a local radio news reporter for over a decade. But, I never expected to cover some of the interesting topics that make up this area. Salmon runs, volcano eruptions, earthquakes, bear sightings and the unique political environment are so much different than the news topics from my work on the Great Plains. Plus, spending spare time on the Kenai Peninsula is so enjoyable. My wife Constance and our children Aedreena, Giaseena and Logan love it.
