KPC Offers Taste of Residence Life with Advice and Slice

The Kenai Peninsula College will hold their third annual Advice and a Slice event on April 3.

Suzie Kendrick with KPC said the event is for current and perspective students.

Kendrick: “So that they can come on campus, explore academic majors, meet professors, learn about financial aid, connect with student services and there’s free pizza, that’s the slice part. There will be some fun door prizes including some valuable ones, this year they’re offering a $500 tuition waiver so that is a significant help to get started in college. And students who are interested in experiencing residence life at KRC are invited to spend the night of April 3 in the residence hall.”

She said they began offering that option last year and saw great enrollment results from it.

Kendrick added that space is limited in the Kenai River campus dorms so those who are interested in spending the night can RSVP at 262-0383.
