Yesterday afternoon, the Borough canvassing board concluded that Mike Navarre had gained enough votes to clinch the office of Borough Mayor.

The vote count. as of Friday afternoon, was 4998 for Navarre and 4508 for Sturman.

The Borough Clerk’s office is still accepting absentee ballots that were postmarked by October 25th through Tuesday.

Fred Sturman agrees with the Borough Clerk’s office, and has conceded the race to Navarre.
